The EC-1000 EverTune BB, with its extra-thick metallic silver bold binding, immediately catches the eye. The guitar features 24 extra-jumbo stainless steel frets and the acclaimed EverTune constant tension bridge, which keeps the instrument in perfect tune at all points on the fingerboard under almost all circumstances. The construction of the EC-1000 EverTune BB includes a set-thru body made of mahogany with a maple cap, a 3-piece mahogany neck, and a macassar ebony fingerboard. The bridge is an Evertune (F model).

The neck pickup is an EMG 60TW-R in brushed chrome, with a pull-tone feature for splitting the pickup, while the bridge pickup is an EMG 81, also in brushed chrome. The strings used on the EC-1000 EverTune BB are D'Addario XL120 (.009/.011/.016/.024/.032/.042).
